Position Summary:

The Property Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the residential and commercial property portfolio. Working under the direction of the property management team, this role is responsible for tenant relations, lease administration, general communication and maintenance coordination.        Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure all of our equipment and machinery (container tippers, excavators, material handlers, loaders, skid steers, shunt trucks and container chassis)  is maintained and operational .

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems across a wide variety of heavy equipment used in scrap metal processing.

• Perform preventive maintenance services and major rebuilds following manufacturer guidelines and yard procedures.

• Assist with welding and fabrication to repair buckets, grapples, and other attachments.

• Assist in managing inventory levels to minimize downtime.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, parts used and equipment hours in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent certification with broad heavy equipment experience.

• Broad mechanical aptitude across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and diesel systems

• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools effectively.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Proficiency with MaintainX or similar maintenance software

What You Will Do:

As a Trader you will learn to monitor metal commodity markets while ensuring availability of product and maximizing returns for the company. This will include collaboration with other members of the management team to develop and implement trading strategies, based on daily analysis of market trends. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

• Monitor market fluctuations and accordingly adjust commodity pricing through the process of supply and demand calculations

• Help create a competitive advantage for JRS' trading and supply chain activities

• Meet with existing and potential customers to gather and analyze needs and requirements for product, including new business opportunities

• Research and present recommendations to senior management on new markets and growth opportunities

What We Require from You:

The Role:

We are seeking a Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance Lead to support fixed and mobile equipment across multiple recycling yards in NS, NB, and PEI. This hands-on, mobile leadership role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining consistent maintenance standards across all locations.
This role does not include maintenance of vehicles, trucks, or trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee repairs

• Coordinate maintenance across multiple yard locations

• Supervise contractors and ensure safety compliance

• Conduct equipment inspections and support operator training

Qualifications:
